Our Capabilities
Manufacturing Process and Production Capacities
Kedisons uses high-quality coconuts sourced from local farmers in Kerala, applying a meticulously designed cold press extraction method to produce coconut oil. The process begins with the selection of mature coconuts. These coconuts undergo dehusking, deshelling, and grating. The grated coconut is then dried to lower its moisture content. Once dried, the coconut flesh is cold-pressed using modern expeller machines to extract pure, unrefined virgin coconut oil (UVCO). No chemicals or additives are used, ensuring a product that retains its natural aroma, flavor, and nutritional properties.
The extracted oil is filtered to remove any impurities and stored in tanks to maintain quality and freshness. The oil is then bottled using a state-of-the-art bottling and filling plant, ensuring hygienic packaging for retail distribution. This process ensures that customers receive a product that meets the highest standards of purity.
Coconut Oil (UVCO):
Kedisons specializes in manufacturing coconut oil through a process of selecting premium coconuts, drying them, and then extracting the oil through expelling. The oil is further processed to ensure purity and quality. Our annual production capacity is 4.75 million pounds (approx. 2,155,000 kg).
Coconut Oil Soap:
We also manufacture coconut oil soap using our own coconut oil. Our production facility has the capacity to produce around 10,000 pieces of soap per day, which totals approximately 360,000 pieces annually.
Deshelled Coconuts:
In addition to oil, we also produce deshelled coconuts, with an annual capacity of 100,000 pieces.
Storage Capacity:
Our storage facility for coconut oil holds up to 200,000 pounds (approx. 90,718 kg) in tanks.
Bottling and Filling Plant:
Our advanced bottling and filling plant handles the retail packaging of our coconut oil products, catering to the needs of both domestic and international markets.
